Marcus Schlichting
- Marcus Schlichting has been part of the management team at BAVARIA YACHTS for over 10 years and is today responsible for marketing and PR at the shipyard. The strategic orientation of the BAVARIA YACHTS brand on its path to greater sustainability is part of the 58-year-old's job. His responsibilities also include presenting new models to journalists on intensive test drives. In collaboration with product management, important insights gained from these test drives are fed back into the product. BAVARIA YACHTS is the largest shipyard for sailing yachts and motorboats from 30 to 57 feet based in Germany. The company is known for its high quality, innovative technology and attractive design. Since its foundation in 1978, BAVARIA YACHTS has delivered over 42,000 yachts and has always remained loyal to its production site in Giebelstadt. There, all yachts are built in the 70,000 square metre production facility with four production lines and can confidently bear the title ‘Made in Germany’.
