- Billy Devauchelle is a naval architect and marine engineer who founded and now presides over Naval Transition, an eco-responsible naval architecture firm based in Nice. He supports projects in the maritime and river sectors that have a low environmental impact, working on new construction and refit projects involving hull design, stability studies, structural calculations, 3D modelling and technical assistance during the construction phase. He is at the forefront of the energy transition in the naval sector and has particular expertise in electric or hybrid propulsion conversions, performance optimisation, and integrating sustainable technical solutions while taking the entire life cycle of ships into account.
